If you have or intend to publish a web-site to the internet then your going to have to think hard about SEO (search engine optimization), an integral part of your SEO will be to bring in traffic, it’s can be very important for search engine ranking.

One of the key tools that most SEO’s use for this is the service of the traffic exchange, I previously wrote an article about the best and worst traffic exchanges that I have used in my attempt to gain a better search engine ranking.

What I’m really going to talk about in this blog is the best way to use a traffic exchange and how to maximize the hits to your site. In the previous article “My journey through traffic exchange” we spoke around the disadvantages of the of some traffic exchanges so it is important to understand how they work and the way to get the best out of them.

First you need to understand the way exchanges work, not actually how they technically work but the way the majority of them give hits to your web-site, also it’s important to know which one give you a massive volume of traffic and which one’s won’t’ but the one’s that don’t give you the traffic, can still be useful if you know how to use them.

There are a number of exchanges that will promise you the earth just to get you to sign up and what they deliver is pitiful, but they are the exchanges I will talk about first.

These seo will varied in the way the deliver hits to your blog, some will give you your sign up bonus (this could be 500 too maybe 2000 hit to your website free) which could lead you to believe that you would be securing this on a regular basis. for these types of exchanges this could not be further from the truth, there are exchanges out there that will give you a thousand + hits a day I know because I’ve collected it at my own website.

Clickevolution for me is the best out there because it dose exactly what it say’s on the tin, the more site’s you surf the more hits you will receive.

Autohits.dk is another one that I would recommend even though it has a 25 second timer it will give it will give you back what you put in, these are both auto surf sites so they can help you to free up your time.

easyhits4u and Trafficswarm are two great manual traffic exchanges, they try there best to give you targeted traffic to your web site.

I personally found Trafficswarm slightly difficult to use as it kept implying that I had illegally did something wrong to this day I don’t know my error, having said that it still worth using.

So now you have your main exchanges, these will give you the bulk of hits to your site your. acquiring 1000 or 2000 credits dependent on the ratio for that site, that there for means that you may not need to surf for credits on that site for a week. Now you need to understand that with these sites you can surf 10,000 sites and for that receive 10,000 credits, you will still only receive 100 to 300 hits a day.

So it a waste of your time to continuously surf for credits when you are not going to receive the hits back.

But if you have 3 or 4 of these exchanges giving you 2 to 300 hits a day you can see the benefits that these exchanges could give you.

Lastly I want to speak about the exchanges that I call straggler but even here you can use these in a good way. the exchanges I’m talking about are the ones that will give you less than a100 hits a day (I have one that give’s me less than 30 hits a day to my site UploadAproperty) I use these for my blog and articles which intern help with my SEO

it important to know around how many hit you will receive after you initial signup bonus so you will know which one’s to use for your blogs and articles which one you can leave running over night because in return you will collectedalmost instant hits and which one’s you need to just top up each week or maybe twice a week.
