Article Marketing Automation. Tactics And Strategies – SEO 3.0
By FTS | September 8th, 2010If you are doing SEO, you must have definitely heard of (if not massively involved in at the moment) the Article Marketing Automation. Yes, it is when you get a unique article, spin it, submit it to the directories or blogs, in an automated way or manually. As a guy who does the article marketing on a daily basis, I’m actually here to pay my tribute so the guys that helped me get 3 hours of my life back, every day.
When I was a bit younger, I thought I have time for everything and I can master almost everything I want. Only second part is valid at the moment I should admit, because time is what I value more and more each year of my life. Whatever the brilliant idea that comes acres your mind, you still need time to implement it, if you’re doing it yourself. And, alas, we don’t live forever, so we have to optimize our time as much as possible.
Now, back to the article marketing. It really is an engine of my SEO for 8 personal web sites and 4 client ones that I do SEO for as a consultant, which, combined, makes my living. Article marketing helps me to get to Google page one for a number of pretty tough keywords, and if it was not for the articles and back links, I might have never succeeded in an online business. I’m not a millionaire, but I have a family of four and pay my bills with the money I make online for the last 5 years, that’s the fact.
To do that, apart from the other SEO methods I use, I need at least 6 fresh articles a day that I spin and submit to various places (namely, directories and blogs, via the automated systems). And what I was doing for a long time looks a bit amateur now – I was trying to write myself and, when I fed up with being a creative writing machine, producing 6-8 articles a day, I outsourced half of it to a freelance writer.
Writing and spinning even 3 articles a day was still a bit of a nightmare that was taking around 3 hours of my life every day. But I simply had to do it, because paying $15-20 for a five – six hundred words article to a freelance writer was way too expensive already, and I couldn’t outsource any more of it.
Literally, it seemed that leaving the evil loop of “Work – Home – Work – Home” and choosing the home business to be the master of my life has lead me to a different, probably even more depressing one called “Howe work – Home work – Home work”.
So I just decided to “sit and think”. What am I doing wrong? How can I free my time? Is there a way to outsource routine things without spending a fortune?
Alas, that’s the only thing I did. I sat and thought. Didn’t even bother to discuss it with my fellow SEO guys. The answer, as in a Steven King book, has found me, not the vise verso. Purely by accident, in a SEO e-zine that I subscribed for. Funny indeed, as I usually don’t read them a lot nowadays, no matter that I’m paying for the subscription. Well, anyway, I somehow spotted a short info about the service called Article Twin. And since that moment, I have those 3 hours a day of my life back. And it makes a huge difference.
The service is quite simple – they connect SEO guys like me to the copywriters worldwide. Authors write unique articles and produce spun versions (tagged ones) for… Guess what… around 4-5 bucks. And, I can get them in just 3 hours if I would want to (normally it is 24 hours, which is still really fast). It is free to join, very easy to use and extremely powerful. Truly, a life savior for any article marketer or any SEO people.
Well, that’s basically it. I felt obliged to do something good back to the people behind the Article Twin, so this article is a big THANKS to the guys, I wish them best of luck.
