Teach your down line members well, but don’t do their jobs for them. You’re like the mother, after you show them you have to let them go so they can live in this business. They won’t be able to survive and profit if you fail to do this. You can teach them well, then show them how it’s done and expect them to follow your lead. If you fail to do that, you might as well just be an affiliate marketer in any business. If you want to be a leader and prosper in MLM, then do your job as a leader. Also understand that MLM success requires the effort of a team of people. Not all MLM recruits are sincere, so avoid falling for the line that they’ll easily make hundreds of sales a month. Focus instead on several team members who can consistently bring in a dozen or so sales each. If a team member is experiencing a tough time during any month, you’ll be able to absorb it. Lots of MLM’ers want to have the ‘power sellers’ on their team, so if that’s you just know it takes real time and effort to make that happen. So just remember that any time you spend doing that could be time spent working with existing team members.
